PROSEPT® Burs – The anti-corrosive, ready-to-use solution for the rapid disinfection and cleaning of rotating instruments.
PROSEPT® Burs is a ready-to-use disinfecting solution for rotary dental and surgical precision instruments such as diamond burs, carbide burs, polishers, and instruments made of stainless steel, tungsten carbide, diamond grit, ceramic, polymer and silicone. The phenol- and aldehyde-free formulation contains corrosion inhibitors which significantly prolong the lifespan of instruments.

How Do I Use PROSEPT® Burs?

For your protection, wear a laboratory gown, household gloves and safety goggles. Pour the ready-to-use solution into the burbath container. Immerse the rotating instruments completely. Follow contact times. After disinfection, leave the rotating instruments to dry. Do not rinse with water to prevent corrosion. Change the working solution twice or three times a week, depending on the degree of contamination. A daily change is recommended. Before first time use, test material compatibility. Use only on alcohol compatible materials.
